Q: purchased music on new windows computer

cannot find pervious purchased music on new windows computer.  Logged in, purchased, all albums    ---   nothing

null, Windows 8

    You are looking in the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage, and do the artists that you've bought music from show on the left-hand side of that screen ?  If you've changed countries since buying the music, or if the rights-holder has removed the music from the store, then you won't be able to redownload it - it also won't show if it's hidden : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases.

     

    Or if you go into the Store tab in Edit > Preferences  and click on 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' do they then show in the Music part of your iTunes library with a cloud icon against them for redownloading ?

    So, Anyone know what happened to the "Show iTunes in the Cloud" checkbox?  It appears that with the most recent iTunes, that checkbox has gone away....

    I can still see it on the current version of iTunes (11.3.1) - this screenshot is from a Mac, but I can see it on the Windows version as well :

    Huh.  Here's my OSX 11.3.1 (and I have the same behavior on a Windows box).  Both systems used to show the checkbox that is now missing:

    I can't see what see your screenshot (did you add it via the camera icon in the reply box ?). On previous versions it sometimes didn't show for me, but I haven't had any problems on the current version (yet). You've tried re-dowloading iTunes and reinstalling it ?

    Yup, I added the image, I'm looking at it in the thread right now.    I haven't tried re-installing, though I would have been surprised if that's the issue given that this is happening on multiple computers/OSes.   I might give it a try, though, for lack of having something better to try....

    I've tried 3 browsers and it doesn't show - but other people have commented on images not always showing. This is the whole of the Store tab that I see on my Mac :

    Apart from the Cloud tick box missing, does the rest of your Store tab look like mine ? You could try clicking the two 'reset' buttons on the Advanced tab in Preferences and see if that makes any difference
