Unknown Applications.

In my Activity Monitor, I have two applications that are unknown to me and using up virtual memory. These are named N124U & N067U Button Manger. Does anyone know what these are and how essential they are before I go and make a fool of myself?

The best I can find is this:

"I use Scangear CS 7.0X plugin to scan in Graphic Converter.
One thing to watch when you install it. It loads two buttons in your startup file. System Preferences > Accounts> Your Account Name> Startup items.
They are called N067U Button Manager and N124U Button Manager. Only one is used and the other one sits there and constantly tries to load."

Do you use Scangear CS like that poster or have a scanner attached to the computer? It appears they are related to that, and if you kill those processes (like they did), you may not be able to use your scanner until a restart or relogin.
