Q: Computer recognizes a wifi connection but does not connect to it?

I Was in Moscow, and only using secure connections but now (away from Russia), still can't get to the internet.

I See the wifi access points but the computer doesn't connect to them.

Ideas?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

Hello Peter Kertesz,

It sounds like you are able to see the Wi-Fi connection you want to use, but cannot connect to it. I would use the following article to help troubleshoot the issue. There is a lot of information in there, but stick with it and it should lead you to a resolution:
