Q: Question: Picturesize 1024x576, how to get in and out? In FCE 4.01

GOt from TV-Set .ts movies, mpegstreamclip as well as Toast 11 sayd it is Picturesize 1024x576, so I converted with Apple Immediate to .mov of this size.

FCE has no settings for this size. What to do?

1024 x 576 isn't a standard video size ... and FCE only works with standard sizes. You could up or downscale the 1024 x 576 image to fit one of the standard sizes.

OH, clear. I was searching a way to add a new standard

Because the project is important, would you say to redo the work from .ts up or can I reformat with MPEGStreamclip, or Qt player with less quality down? (Rosenkavalier; I have bought some commercial DVD but this last play is not available ).

WHat would be your way?

You should try DV-PAL Anamorphic
Mpeg Streamclip sometimes read SD PAL 16:9 as 1024x576
