Sep 2, 2014 10:49 AM in response to cecolbertby MichelPM,I feel Apple's wireless input device are NOT too reliable and do not work for long tern use.
If you want to rid yourself of the constant hassles with syncing OR non-syncing wireless keyboards and mice with batteries that need constant replacing, forget about wireless connectivity. You can still obtain Apple's wired aluminum USB keyboard or any other third party wired USB keyboard and wired Apple mouse or any other Mac compatible wired USB mouse.
Apple's Bluetooth input devices, IMO and, especially, the Magic Mouse are just terrible for everyday, long-term use.
Older IR and RF style wireless peripherals from third party input device makers were a lot more reliable and consistent.
That's my story and I am sticking to it!
