Q: keyboard for the touch?

found this on ebay for apple, seems to be aimed at the ipad user, but my touch has BT so think this would work on my 3rd gen touch

I was searching for Apple Bluetooth Keyboard. Somewhere I saw it mentioned in a manual somewhere.

Seems to be several models of BT keyboards, but I was considering one that works with apple's toys primarily

iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1, 32gb version

The iPod 3G and later support standard BT keyboards except the original Apple white, 4-battery BT keyboard.

    iOS: Apple Wireless Keyboard compatibility

a KB that says it works for iPod will work for 3G and later iPods

my touch is on the list, and the buy now price is not very high, obviously an apple branded keyboard would be more expensive

I have a 32GB 3rd gen touch with iOS 5.1.1 and mostly its a glorified MP3 player. Email works when I go for coffee so its all I need.

The keyboard would make the touch easier to work with, and the model I was looking at has a mount to hold a device up to see the screen

I recall an ad for ipad using a keyboard similar to the model I found on ebay

looked like it might be a handy way to perk up the utility of the touch

If you don't mind spending a lot and want to impress people, you could always visit Brookstone. They have this awesome laser projection virtual keyboard for $120, and it works with any device supporting Bluetooth. It's a lot of money, but I'll bet it's lots of fun to use.

I think I will stick with the $15 model, this way it hurts less if it dies
