Revit on Macbook Pro

Hi'

I need to use the software from Autodesk called Revit.

So I'm going to run Windows using parallels on a Mac.

Autodesk recommend 2,7 quadcore GHz, 16 GB Ram, NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 650M etc.

I would like to buy the newest Mac pro, with 2,2 GHz (3,4 turbo boost), 16 GB Ram, and the Intel Iris Pro graphics.

Can anybody please give me some advice whether it will be sufficient or not?

Thank you in advance 🙂

I'm running Revit 2016 on a MacBook Pro Retina (Mid 2012), 2.6 GHz i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB through Parallels and it seem to be fine. But I am only just beginning to learn Revit. I am modeling a 1,500 s.f. three story house as a test. One thing I have noticed is the system is using all of the RAM. But it doesn't seem to care.

I had it set up using bootcamp but hated having to boot back into each os.

Good luck.
