You have given no context at all.
Who is Standard bank? What do they have to do with anything?
What prepaid gift card?
What is a Sandton Mall gift card and what does it have to do with Apple or iPhone or whatever your issue is?
You bought an apps store gift card from where? An iTunes gift card? What country?
In what country are you trying to use it?
For what are you trying to use it?

Aug 31, 2014 8:31 AM in response to wegrasby IRedM,Hi Peter
I bought the App store gift cards not the iTunes ones since I want to buy Quicktime 7 Pro. When I select the App store gift card tab to make the purchase, automatically the form displays a country (USA/UK) at the bottom which is anything but South Africa and renders my billing address incorrect since the is a mandatory section I cannot fill (e.g. State or County) either way.

Aug 31, 2014 8:47 AM in response to roaminggnomeby IRedM,Hi Roaminggnome
I am trying to buy Quicktime 7 Pro online and I follow all the instructions until I get to a place where I have to specify my payment method and I choose the App Store gift card tab and get stuck there since I am making an online purchase from South Africa and in the Billing Address part of the form, South Africa does appear to be one in the list of countries I can select from and I just noticed that both my voucher pin numbers appear red when 'I type them in. What I'll try now is use my London friend's address for the billing address section and see how that works. Thanks for trying to help guys, I appreciate it.

Aug 31, 2014 8:55 AM in response to IRedMby ChrisJ4203,This sounds like an issue with how you have set up your iTunes account. Also, QuickTime Pro is for the computer, not the iPhone, am I correct in that? If that is the case, this really isn't something for the iPhone forum, but I think that Peter's links should provide help. Your billing address has to match the address on your credit card, which then has to match the country you are using for the iTunes store. The problems can also ensue when you are outside of your home country and the computer tends to default the store to a location where you are. You may have to request assistance from iTunes to complete your purchase.

Aug 31, 2014 9:06 AM in response to IRedMby IRedM,You know what guys? I just discovered that the previous owner of my IMac had Quicktime 7 Pro already installed in it and although I wouldn't have minded buying my own I guess I'll use the installed one for the time being. Thanks for the help.
