Q: programmable root enumerator driver

I am unable to tether my iPhone 4s with my windows 7 computer, wirelessly or via USB. By troubleshooting I discovered that the Apple drivers needed updated, repaired, or just installed properly. The driver is the programmable root enumerator driver. I need help. How do I find the software to download this driver with spending money?

Thanks for responding. However, you aren't addressing my problem. As I said originally. I need the driver soft wear from Apple for the programmable root enumerator driver in order to connect my phone to the computer. Any ideas on how to fix or installed the drivers? Every website wants to charge me $40 or more to update the drivers.
