Aug 31, 2014 11:06 AM in response to hbackesby paolaEdi,★HelpfulPresumably your daughter will keep using her Apple id herself? You would have to ask here to remove your Macbook from the list of here devices, see here. Then you can use iTunes to authorise the computer with your ID, see here.
In case you do not want to ask her, another way that could work is to set up another administrator account with your own credentials, then delete her account (as administrator, you could do it).
Either way I think you will lose any apps your daughter would have bought, as they are associated to the Apple ID used to buy them. If anyone uses iTunes match, I think there can be only one ID associated to it per machine.

Aug 31, 2014 12:22 PM in response to paolaEdiby hbackes,Thank you, Paola. iTunes is already connected to my account and all apps are under it. But when trying to get support from Apple, the computer is not shown as one of the devices connected to my account.

Aug 31, 2014 2:21 PM in response to hbackesby paolaEdi,so I guess it is a matter of your daughter removing the device from her account, and for you to register it - she has to wait for 90 days from first registration before she can de-register your laptop from her account.
Then she should sign into iTunes, then go to Store from the menu bar at the top, then select "Deauthorise this computer". Then she ohs out, you log in, go to store, and select "Authorize this computer", and that should be it. Hope it works!
