Q: How can I get rid of many lines of computer language before I see my e-mails?

I have a MacBook Air. IN recent months incoming e-mail is cluttered with computer programming jargon. I would like to get rid of it.

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2013), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

What if you click on Hide Detail i upper left?

What you are seeing are the headers included in the message.

To turn off headers go to Mail>Preferences>Viewing and for Show header detail set that to "None"

Post a screenshot of what you mean by computer jargon. Make sure personal info like email addresses are redacted.

Did you save the screenshot as an image file and then post the image by clicking on the camera icon in the middle-left of the reply to toolbar and then uploading the image file?

Thanks. Nobody can help unless they can see what you are talking about. Take a screenshot and use the camera icon to post it here.

Hi again: No, I do not have the problem when I go to g-mail on Safari. I tried to do a screen shot but it didn;t work. New to me. I will try later.
