Sep 1, 2014 6:32 AM in response to Ian R. Brownby rama11,I called apple care about a program I could send my movie to from iMovie. They recommended Thinker it's $19 dollars. I 'm used to idvd & imovie. They claimed they will keep imovie around but discs are on their way out. I need to start learning FCP. I had FCP 5.0 but stopped using it. Since apple owns thinker I need to go in store to ask Q's.

Sep 1, 2014 6:50 AM in response to rama11by Ian R. Brown,iDVD is a brilliant DVD creator and if you have it you should use it.
I know nothing about Thinker except that it won't be anywhere near as good.

Sep 1, 2014 7:05 AM in response to rama11by Ian R. Brown,★HelpfulI've just had a look at it on the App Store.
It looks extremely basic with some very crude menus and in the absence of any info to the contrary I would stick by my statement that iDVD is pretty much the best app out there and this one is nowhere near as good.
I don't believe that Apple has any connection with "Thinker".
The App Store is simply a market place where almost anyone can dump the apps they have created.
Only a few dozen of the thousands of apps have anything to do with Apple.
