ipod shuffle 4th gen not doing anything

Ipod shuffle 4th gen will not turn on, will not charge, is not recognized by the computer or itunes. I have uninstalled itunes, reinstalled it, shut down my computer, updated the itunes, tried everything and it still will not do anything.
