It's very, very unlikely that you have a virus - it's been years since any virus surfaced on the Mac. You may have malware, or some application that you've installed that may affect keyboard shortcuts, though. See The Safe Mac -> Mac Malware Guide.


And don't install any anti-virus software - particularly any 'paid' software. And beware even some free a/v software as some (avast! for example) inserts adware into your system.
