Sep 4, 2014 8:08 AM in response to musaed_terreby matt00,Hey musaed_terre,
Thanks for the question. You should not need to do anything on your end to have your iPhone unlocked. Your carrier should submit the unlocking request, which may take up to seven days, and then notify you when your unlock has been processed. Afterwards, you’ll want to follow the directions in this resource:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5014
If you need to contact your carrier again for more information, see this resource:
Sprint Wireless Online Support
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4993
Thanks,
Matt M.

Sep 4, 2014 3:16 PM in response to matt00by musaed_terre,Thank you for your response. I have called and asked them several times to send a request but they refuse to do so. A lot of Sprint customers are suffering from this issue with Sprint even when the contract with them is over. Apple should take an action toward Sprint in regards this issue.
THanks

They do so at their discretion. This has nothing to do with Apple.
Talk to Sprint, but I doubt they will unlock if you are not a customer.
