Q: Powerbook G4 Mac OxS 10.5.6

i have the powerbook G4 Mac OsX  10.5.6 and itunes and almost everithing doesn,t work. Is slow etc. What can i do to have a Mac working correkt. Thanks

We are a bit short of information here.

  • First, what is the processor speed (from "About this Mac") and the screen size (12, 15, 17 inch). Some PowerBook models have model-specific known problems.
  • How much RAM is installed? (also from "About this Mac")
  • Please state which apps are slow and which, if any, seem to run OK.

 

Note that no PowerMacs including the PowerBook G4 are doing well with browsing modern web pages. Web technology has largely abandoned support for pre-2006 Macs.

    Hello Mr. Jones

     

    This one as 12 years and all software etc is the lowest, on is generation.  i have informations from Apple that with all this versions from software and since 12 years allot of changes happened. I will invest in a new Apple Mac Pro with retina display.
