Sep 2, 2014 11:52 AM in response to Very Baffledby ChrisJ4203,★HelpfulWhat troubleshooting have you done? Try a reset, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot and no data will be lost.
If you open the Mail app, is the account still listed there?

I seemed to have resolved the issue just before your reply but in truth I don't know how??? I obviously, unwittingly, tapped/selected the right buttons which appear to have restored the Inbox. The mailboxes are not in their original order but I'll settle for having the Inbox back for now.
I shall bear in mind your suggestion for the future.
Thank you

Sep 2, 2014 12:59 PM in response to Very Baffledby ChrisJ4203,If you go into the Mail app which will bring up the Mailboxes screen, tap on the Edit button in the top right of the screen. This area allows you to edit what boxes you see and the order they appear on the screen. If you hold on to the 3 lines on the right side, you can slide the order around. Hope that helps.
