The Air is going to be a little more powerful, but the extra screen size will be helpful for document viewing. The cellular version helps if WiFi is not readily available. But you do not have to subscribe unless you find it important.

Sep 13, 2014 4:28 PM in response to JGB16by Kelci27,I Personally would get the mini. They are great devices. They more portable than the full sized iPads. I wouldn't waste time on cellular either unless you don't have a cell phone.
I Have an iPad mini and would never go back to a full sized ipad.
the only thing I would say is to get at least 32g so you have enough memory for docs.
