Music sharing

My two sons would like to have a few songs I that I have ripped from CD's and purchase from iTuns on their iPods. Can I just sync those songs to their pods from my library then back them up to their Library all on the same PC?

Thank you for responding to my Question. Unfortunately due to my extreme lack of skills I was unable to find users\public\public music and a few other things that were in the instructions. I have some friends in IT that I will take my laptop to and see if they can do it for me.
