Q: How get one photo from a clip?

I have one clip, working in imovie i can extract one image from a clip and I can insert in my project, but I can't save this image out of imovie, for example in iphoto or any folder in the computer. I would like saving this image like photo. I can caopy and paste just in the video, not out of it.

I hope you understand my english.

Ae you asking about iMovie on your Mac or no an iPad, iPhone? Your question is in the iPhoto on iOS Devices forum form iPhone or iPad, but you are asking about saving a still frame on a computer? Which version of iMovie  and iPhoto do you have?

The quickest way to save a still frame to your computer would be to play the video in full screen and to press the key combination ⇧⌘3 to save a still frame to your desktop.

The old Quicktime 7 has an export option "Movie to Picture".  (download here - you may need the Pro version:  QuickTime Player 7 for Mac OS X v10.6.3 or later.)

Aperture can extract a still frame from a video clip and save it in the Aperture library as JPEG.
