How do I compress an mv4 file to Quicktime to email?

I want to email a short (3 minute) .mv4 video that I create and want to know how to compress the file so that I can email the movie? It was originally a slide show that I created in iPhoto and exported to QuickTime (not Pro).

The current file size is 128.6 MB which doesn't allow me to email, so I need to know how to compress the file so that it can easily be downloaded to the recipient's desktop (Mac) relatively quickly and viewed with no reduction of quality. The video file is 720p HD.

I suppose I could purchase QuickTime Pro since I can use it for other video projects. But if I do, will that solve the whole compression file issue? I want to compress the file so that it's small enough to easily email to someone and they will be able to download and view it. But I also would hope that using QuickTime Pro will be easy enough to do that (read: on-screen, easy to follow instructions).

Advice, anyone? Help!

All email providers have a file size limit and Apple's is 20 MB's.

It's impossible to send your file at its current size so you would have to reduce it by a factor over 6. A postage stamp sized version and highly compressed.

Use iChat or Messages to send your file as it doesn't have a file size limit. No need to compress it.

Thanks, so using QuickTime Pro wouldn't allow me to compress the file size without sacrificing quality?

No.

By its nature compression leads to quality loss and all you could try is the free compression tools already available to you.

iPhoto, iMovie and QuickTime X all have an "email" export option and each of them would reduce the dimensions and compress the file. iChat and Messages can send the file without any changes.
