How do I get an error message when iphoto away?

How do I get an error message when iphoto away? This has to do with pictures that are imported.

My Macbook can't off because it involves the error melding.

I'm looking for a solution.

Hey Nathalie1996,

Thanks for the question. It sounds like you are unable to shut down your MacBook due to an error message with iPhoto that you cannot see. Let’s try forcing the iPhoto application to close:
