broadcasting radio using mac

Hi i'm not sure where I should post this question but i'd appreciate any help I can get. I used to have a shoutcast radio station when I did my work on windows but now i've made the jump into mac and am not sure if there is a free way of broadcasting your radiostation using mac.

Any reason you can't use Shoutcast for the Mac?

well I had read before that there is an additional part to shoutcast needed that is not mac compatible. Its the actual server thing.

Ok I just read on winamps forum that it's not possible to run the free version of broadcasting using shoutcast on macosx so thats why i'm looking for an alternative.

Maybe look into Quicktime Broadcaster or Nicecast.

Thanks I did look into nicecast but it's $40 and quicktime you've got to get the pro version in order to do it as well. I was looking for the alternative possible third party software to broadcast with... my budget is null and void right now due to other projects so i'm looking for the bare minimum at cheapest rate or free free free.
