How do I scan and remove a virus from my iPad?

MY iPad has been having many bad things go on like only one of the speakers works, videos are all messed up into thousands of miniature squares that are obviously not meant to be that way. When I type it won't type as fast as my fingers and I type rather slowly. It will be loading an unlabeled and un identifiable something with and without the internet on even when all of the applications are closed.

Do these these things stand for that somebody is pirating my information or uploading stuff without permission? Who can help out with the issues without it being unaffordable? Please offer me plenty of ideas and options to save things before replacements are demanded. The problems are the same in my iPhone 4S. Might this mean that I have it in my iCloud Account?

Can anyone tell me how I can tell if my IPAD has been "jailbroken"?

Thanks!

If the iOS devices have not been jailbroken or hacked, they cannot get a virus...there are none for the iOS devices. You may be experiencing overload of the system or hardware problems. To see if it is a system overload, double click the home button and dismiss each app by swiping the material above the app icon up and off the top of the screen. That terminates the app and dismisses it.

Then reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.

Then see if the bad behavior continues. If it does, visit an Apple store genius bar and have the techs run their diagnostics to see if the hardware has problems.

First, I agree with Pete, it would be better to start a separate thread that others are more likely to see.

Second, why do you think you have a virus? If you are seeing popup ads or messages while running Safari, go to Settings > Safari and then Clear Cookies and Data, and then Clear History.

Then do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, takes about 10-40 seconds, and then release both buttons and let it finish the startup procedure.
