AirPort Extreme 5th generation not connecting to the internet

My airport extreme 5th generation is not connecting to the internet. The modem is working as I can connect to the internet direct via Ethernet to the modem. I've tried all ethernet ports on the extreme and light continues to blink amber. I've also done a reset. Any thoughts? Thank you!
