I found there was a replacement program going on, I only just found might wifi connection is playing up also.
unsure if your unit needs to be within its warranty.

Try connecting via ethernet.
Make sure DNS is set to auto (settings - general - network)
Go to istumbler, netstumbler or similar to see a full report of your network, that will give a proper indication of signal strength as well as any noise detected.
