iPod Classic - High Reallocs - Time for new iPod?

Hello,

After my iPod Classic 160GB (late 2009) failed I followed the excellent instructions posted here https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5020595 and eventually after a full drive reformat I was able to restore and reload my library.

However, checking the HDSMARTDATA I still have the stats below. Is my drive likely to fail soon? I'm using it at a party in a couple of weeks so I'm wondering if it's safer to buy a new one.

Retracts: 5

Reallocs: 8976

Pending Sectors: 0

PowerOn Hours: 1352

Start/Stops: 7837

Temp: Current 26c

Temp: Min 0c

Temp: MAx 46c

Thanks.

Thanks turingtest2, good to know. Since I completely reformatted it two weeks ago it has been behaving...

However I bought another 160GB classic as soon as they announced they were stopping production anyway. The price was no higher, in fact I got the grey one because it was £10 cheaper than the black for some reason.

But I see the iPhone 6 is available with 124GB which would be enough (albeit much more expensive).
