I have realised that my Ipad that was shipped with Siri no longer has it as an app (so does not appear in settings, no keyboard microphone etc.) How can this be resolved please?

Your profile shows that you are using an iPad 4, so that model does have Siri. Check Settings>General>Restrictions>Siri and make sure that it is not disabled.
Thanks I switched it off in the first place! Needed to de-restrict it and switched on.
Yeah, that's what I was suggesting. You had Siri restricted when you disabled it.
