I just got a nano. I don't want to share it with the rest of my family. Can I set protection on it?

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you want to use Screen Lock on the iPod nano. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.

Screen Lock, which allows you to set a 4-digit combination to prevent someone else from using your iPod while it is not attached to a computer.
