Recently I bought a macbook pro (7 days). I am facing heating problem and its battery backup is also not good, 3-4 hrs, but company claims 7 hrs. What should I do?

No application is using more than 7% CPU but still I am facing heating problem and battery backup problem.
Without actual temperature readings, one cannot determine if there is or is not a problem. Download iStat menus:

Open Activity Monitor to ALL PROCESSES and set CPU to display value from high to low.
When the MBP gets hot, take images of both and post them.

Is this a new Macbook Pro, bought from Apple? If you are not satisfied with it you can take it back and have it replaced. If you are using the computer for games and heavy video use that will reduce the battery charge time. Apple says up to 7 hours. That is for relatively light usage.
I bought it from snapdeal.com 7 days back. Snapdeal gives me 1 yr apple warrenty also. Should I replace it with snapdeal.com or should I take it to apple care?
Please give me customer care number also.
Unless you signed up and paid for Apple Care you won't be covered by that. If you're not happy with it, take it back to where you bought it.

CoconutBattery show only the battery temperature, not the CPU temperature, which is the prime heat generator.

I am already registered at apple.com. I have checked that my macbook is under warranty. What should I do now, returned it back to snapdeal.com or should I go to customer care?
