Q: can i deauthorise 'all' devices from a device which is not authorised? Using itunes on new device and want to get it authorised to sync with iphone but need to deauthorise all devices first as I have reached my 5 limit. thanks

My account is already authorised to 5 computers for syncying my iphone etc.

Bought a new laptop and want to get it authorised.

But can't access the deauthorise all devices option on itunes on the new laptop - it says i can only deauthorise this one, but it's not authorised.

You should be able to log into your account on a computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and 'deauthorise all' (deauthorising all is done via your account, not the Store drop-down menu).

Thanks for replying. When I go in to my account it has no information on my computer authorisations at all. Any ideas? Eoghan
