Q: Is it normal if an iPod Touch 5 is taking 19 hours to restore?

It's already been restoring for 3 hours and there's still 16 hours left. About 30-40gbs are being restored though. This link says it could take up to an hour to restore, but it's been more than an hour already. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3681

I would terminate and try again. I would close iTunes and reboot the computer and then try again.
