I View FB on my Apple IPad but can no longer access my timeline ir friends from the column.

How are you viewing Facebook on your iPad? Are you using the Facebook app or Safari or another browser? The Facebook app works best. Download that from the App Store. If you are still having problems try signing out of Facebook and then sign back in. Quitting the application that you are using to view Facebook is another suggestion. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.
