Q: I can't connect my iPhone to my Apple TV  , the airplay icon doesn't even appear

I Can't use the Apple T. From my phone, the remote, and even the AirPlay the options dont appear on my phone ,  is like  the Apple TV wasn't on! the other members of my home have no problem, so the Apple TV is ok, I think is my phone, what should I do?

iPhone 5c, iOS 7.1.2

In the Control Center (swipe up from just beside the Home Button) you will see the Airplay button almost at the bottom right.
