Q: Pop-ups

I recently bought a new Macbook pro. Its not even a week old. When ever i click on the screen a new tab opens up with pop ups. How can i get rid of them? Can i reset my whole computer to its factory settings? I know I'll lose everything but honestly theres not much on it. Im new to Mac's so any advice you'd give me would be  greatly appreciated!
