Thanks, but I know the Basics of Mail and have been using it for years. I am puzzled about the "To" in the sort/preview column between the Mailbox and email itself. I think it may have to do with some sort of email marking. Not all email have it.
Right click on the To header and you'll see the columns selected to be displayed in the window. You can select or deselect any column of your choosing:
