This is referring to you your Thunderbolt port. Thunderbolt bridge is a way of connecting your macs together. Will give you up to 20GB connection speed.

This is a very convenient way of transferring files from one mac to another. If your other mac does not have Thunderbold, Thunderbold to ethernet converters are available.

Hope this helps

I guess my question is, if I did not set it up & don't have another mac, this would mean I have an unwanted connection (so far have had Apple help with 2 hacker situations they say thru my airport utility, same person), maybe this is how he continues to be connected?

Hi sorry been off for a few days.

Not a chance you are being hacked through that unless you have a cable attached to that port.

Is your mac being hacked or your wifi connection?

Check out the security and privacy system preferences.

Is your Firewall up and running?

Check you settings he may be getting in piggy back on an app you are allowing.

Maybe you should consider using FileVault to encrypt your HD.

Hope this helps.
