how to uninstall fitbit program on my mackbook?

Since Fitbit isn't installed though the Mac App Store... to uninstall the Fitbit app open Finder and got to Applications folder. Drag Fitbit application to Trash. It will prompt you for your system password. Enter it.

Boom. Gone.

Fitbit is not in the Mac App Store, therefore it can not be uninstalled via the jiggle method.

Download the original installer from fitbit.com and you'll find the uninstall utility in there.

The fitbit connect app is actually one of the few apps that can't be uninstalled via this method. That is my guess why the person asked. The response that "brithead" gave is the only way that I know to successfully uninstall this particular app.

I was having the same problem. Just successfully uninstalled Fitbit off my MacBook Pro using Brithead's technique of downloading the original installer and selecting uninstall. You can find it here:

If you use BrianG2K's suggestion, it'll delete the Fitbit program, but won't remove Fitbit from the top menu bar.

Good to know, At the time of writing my way worked for me and I no longer had Fitbit on my top bar. (In fact, I never had)

I just found this know-how on the web. It's sharing the detailed instructions on how to use the official installer to un-install the Fitbit Connection manually. Yup, we should call that "uninstaller" as setup file or Installation Package.
