Q: trackpad loses connection.. I go to the top of the screen and use disconnect and reconnect.. works till next time? OS Maverick

WirelessTrackpad loses connection, Have tried cleaning elect. connections and new batteries. This is not the problem..Found if I disconnect the blue tooth to the Trackpad and then reconnect it works till next time. Has anyone else had this problem. perhaps it is a Maverick OS problem??
