@joeItaly : I posted the results already. The FCC IDs are known, you won't have to wait.

The result of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is very similar to the one of the iPhone 5 and 5S, only the 6 Plus is slightly worse.

I'm not inclined to used text abbreviations here in the forum but, in this case, I'll make an expectation: ROTFLMAO! You're faith in national news and it's ability to report science is ......charming.

@Meg St. Clair : We don't live all in the United States like you do, but I do feel sorry for you now that I think about it. CBC/Radio-Canada is pretty reliable here in Quebec/Canada 😉

The whole point of sensationalism and big media was : just because I suspect (yet have no proof of) some kind of conspiracy behind electronics devices' radiation like the cellphone, and think we have a decent amount of proof that the oil companies rule the world and can do whatever they want with us and other companies, including crushing their competitors........ that I am the kind to NOT believe the big media and only trust what small groups of people have to say. Clearly, you proved my point BIG TIME. Thanks. 🙂

Everyone making fun and attacking those who want to know are pathetic. You act like someone just said something about your child or that you're trying to reassure yourself. Asinine arguments like 'well do you know how much radiation you get from this and this', is that supposed to be scientific? That's the point, you have a choice in certain things in life, and you have some exposure you can't control...'so what's a little more', well that's your choice, some people use logic differently. Johnny Cochran gets a brain tumor at the spot where he used to hold his cellphone, young women are getting rare types of breast cancer after keeping their phones in their bras, etc. It's a perfectly fair question for whoever wants to find out (and the governments around the world seem to think the same by setting limits and requiring public information), especially for everyone who has seen what a cancer patient has to go through on a day by day basis.

Dears,

I am coming back because we have, at last, the value of the SAR for the Iphone 6 published on the Apple website:

https://www.apple.com/legal/rfexposure/iphone7,2/en/

The amazing news is that, as you can see, there is a model number A1589 with SAR exposure for the head: 0.38 W/Kg

This number is beautiful, so, I am looking forward for a complete reporting because the other values are n.a. yet BUT the question is:

How I can recognize the model number of the Iphone?

Thanks.

Yes, the two friende I am sitting with agree with your first sentiment. Just thought you'd like to know.

Yes, I think the SAR value is a meaningless number and I pay no mine to it at all when buying a phone. I don't care whether Apple, Samsung, Sony, Nokia have higher, lower or in between numbers. For those that do, like joeitaly, choose one with a lower number and move on to their forum.

You, Deggie, are putting the discussion at the lowest level... to be or not to be a Iphone fan.

I have a Mac Air and an Iphone but it does not mean I accept what ever Apple will propose to me, otherwise why should we discuss?

Here we are talking about a technical and crucial point (not for you, so why are you here?): the design and the materials (?) of the Samsung smartphones deliver the best values for the SAR.

My expectation is that Apple will take care soon of the huge distance from the competitors and, you know what, thanks to people like you, Deggie, this thread now is famous on the web 😁 May be Apple will notice this forum doing better next time for the SAR.
