Q: Where can I buy DVD Studio Pro 4?

I would like to buy a copy of DVD Studio Pro 4.

I can't find it on the Apple website. I did find updates to 4.2.1, but not the basic application for sale.

Used would be OK.

Studio Pro has been discontinued by Apple in 2006. You'll have to look at 3rd party retailers like Amazon.com or eBay.com for it. However, most of the versions offered were V3 or earlier.

iDVD still works and is available via the iLife 09 disk from Amazon.com.

I should have mentioned that I need this specific version to analyze timing errors showing up in a particular workflow.

I guess I should let you-all know that Studio Pro 4 is one disc/program in a suite of discs/programs called Apple Final Cut Studio 3. I found the complete boxed set on eBay. The seller had a devil of a time finding the old serial number, but eventually did find it. One number unlocks all the programs in the suite.
