Q: Systems Updates

Hi, I have a MacBook Pro running on the Mac OSX Mavericks (10.6.8) system and would like to update it to the 10.9.4 version. I've tried multiple system upgrades but it keeps failing. How should I go about it?

Mac OSX Mavericks (10.6.8)

Clarification question - are you running Mavericks (10.9) or Snow Leopard (10.6)?

If Mavericks, try the combo update.
