It seems that you have enough ram and diskspace.

1 -- You have or had hacked software (by using a Keygenerator, I assume). Uninstall that keygenerator, and uninstall that software (there are good alternatives at a lower price than some expensive Adobe softwares).

Probably you got the Genieo malware at the same time; this is very serious and must go:

visit the thesafemac.com site and read about the Genieo mac killer, and then download the removal instructions: http://www.thesafemac.com/arg-genieo/

Remove the Genieo according to the instructions.

2 -- Then uninstal the WesternDigital (WD) software (SystemPreferences), if the two kernel extensions are not gone (see the etrecheck list, com.wdc...), in Finder go to the MacintoshHD->Library->Extensions folder and delete the two com.wdc.... kexts there).

3 -- in MacintoshHD->Library->LaunchDaemons delete the adobe.switchboard.plist and

in MacintoshHD->Library->LaunchAgents delete the adobe.CS5Servicemanager.plist

4 -- in SystemPreferences->Users&Groups->LoginItems remove all entries, with the minus sign underneath,

restart the mac after that.

5 -- Uninstall Magicmenu.

Now restart, empty the trash bin. use the mac for a day or so, decide whther you are satisfied, if not run a new etrecheck list and come back here.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.

The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages

from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select

View ▹ Show Log List

from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.

Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

A beautiful mac. Should be a marvel to use.

Although you did not describe your issues, I suppose it is something like in the title.

This may help:

1. in SystemPreferences->Users&Groups->LoginItems remove all entries (5), with the minus sign underneath. Then restart.

now you must start each software by hand, that is all. In the login items are softwares that are no longer there or are better not started automatically and thus run always, in use or not.

This action should already make a difference.

2. I am pretty sure that Nero is not really Yosemite compatible, either uninstall it or be sure that you have a compatible version: I propose to uninstall it even if it says that it is compatible.

3. in MacintoshHD->Library->Internet-Plugins delete the AdobeAAM... plugin.

4. this is a question: do you use AdobeCreativeCloud?

5. this is a remark: be aware that locking / unlocking (file vault) takes a **** of a lot of resources and time...

Not too bad:

1. telestream compatible with Yosemite???

2. In Homefolder->Library->LaunchAgents delete the ...apple.CSConfigDotMacCert-[...]@me.com file.

3. I am not sure about Logos application and the MusicManager application, is this one hacked? or out of date? Uninstall

4. uninstall Macfuse: not compatible and out of date.

5. delete all entries in SystemPreferences->Users&Groups->LoginItems, with the minus sign underneath.

6. Restart.

7. Update Yosemite to 10.10.2

8. download AdwareMedic from thesafemac.com. Run it. Just to be sure.

Uninstall CleanMyMac2. It is worthless on a Mac and all it does is cause problems.

Since you have adware installed on your Mac, suggest you download and run AdwareMac from http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/carmelite-to-preach-to-roman-curia-in-len t-on-being-prophets-29226/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Fe ed%3A+catholicnewsagency%2Fdailynews-vatican+%28CNA+Daily+News+-+Vatican%29

1. CleanMyMac: this is version 2: start it, then choose "uninstall" from the left Navigation Panel and uninstall itself. There will be remnants after this, but at least it is immobilized. It is dependant on what you "cleaned" with it, for your issues to stop.. Do you remember?

2. If you do not find AdwareMedic with the Pope (😁), you could look at thesafemac.com . Good show Allan, 😁.

3. In SystemPreferences->Users&Groups->LoginItems delete all entries in there with the minus sign underneath.

after all this restart the mac and enjoy.

Download FindAnyFile.app from http://apps.tempel.org/FindAnyFile/

Then install, and run: put macpaw in the search field and click the Find button:

all that you find with macpaw you select and "move to trash" (not "delete immediately").

then empty the trash, and then put cleanmymac in the search field, maybe you find some more, move to trash, empty trash.

Then restart.
