Will the Ipad 2 sync with the Iwatch? Features like transferring notes or calender and contacts books.

No, watch will require an iphone 5 or above,

It would simply not make any sense if you can not sync the two. For me I am looking to sync, heart rates, distance ran, blood pressure and such. Exercise stuff. That would be my main reason to purchase the watch.

It won't, only the iPhone. But it certainly would make more sense if it did! I have an iPod 5 and if Apple Watch was compatible with it, I would more than likely buy one. Besides, there are so many features that would work with the iPod as well.
