how can I recover password for encrypting I- Phone Backup?

I created a password to backup passwords that were saved on my I- phone and don't remember the password. How can i recover and change the password?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.2

Thanks for the question. It sounds like you have an encrypted backup, but do not remember the password.
