Q: Airprint problems: can't find canon MG3520 printer

I am trying to print via wireless from my iPad (3rd generation) and iPhone 5 to my new canon MG3520 -- but it seems I have to set this up first to use with airprint?  How to do that---?

OK I set-up the LAN (first connecting printer to the MacBook Pro running 10.8.5) via USB and then removed the USB cables so that now the iPad and the iPhone can select the printer - but it just prints blank sheets of paper and says there is an error each time.

Frustrating- what to do?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion, Also a Mac SE running 6.0.4 - not upgrading that!

Not a lot of help out there - glad I solved this myself:

    1. You have to use the USB cable to choose LAN setup before airprint will work.  Did that.
    2. Then I noticed airprint worked with my iPad but not my iPhone-- that was due to the iPhone being set for a non-USA international setting - likely was trying to send A4 size paper to print and it didn't work.  Changed to USA setting and now everything prints via wireless.

    SOLVED!

I'm having the same problem and don't understand your solution. First you said that it didon't work with either your iPad or iPhone after LAN setup and then you said your iPad worked after LAN setup. And how do you change your device to USA setting? Where is this? My devices are printing blank sheets and giving an error message.
