Why does nothing show up when I want to print messages from my Safari email

Hi all, I find it annoying that, when I wish to print emails from Safari mail, the print dialogue window comes up totally blank, and find myself having to forward the message to another of my email addresses to print from there.

I'm just wondering what I may have done that blocks email messages from showing up in the print dialogue box. Any clues?
