Why Are Monitor Resolutions Resetting Themselves?
Both at work and at home I have a G4 PowerBook and an Apple Display (Studio at home and Cinema at work - OSX 10.4.7 at home and OSX 10.3.9 at home). At both locations the displays are set to mirror.
But after each start-up on either machine, the cursor position on the display doesn't line up with the objects on the screen. (For instance in order to click on a button in the middle of the display, I have to position the cursor somewhere near the upper left corner. However the alignmement is correct on the PowerBook's own LCD.)
The only solution is to go to the Menu Bar and turn Off and On the Mirroring. This procedure gets really annoying having to do it every single time at home and at work...
Is there a solution?
Thanks
