Best iPhone 6 Case

Going to preorder my iPhone 6 tomorrow through AT&T and was wondering if anyone has found thebest iPhone 6 case available yet online that will be here the same time as my phone. I couldn't handle carrying it around right away without a case!!!

So guys, what is the best iPhone 6 case out there right now?

The Sena case (http://www.senacases.com/product/magnetic-holster-iphone-6/) seems to be the best one I've seen, and unless I find something better tonight I'm going to order it.

For me, I prefer to use my phone barebacked. I'm not going to pay NZ$1249 for a beautiful aluminium and glass premium phone and then have to touch a $30 plastic or rubber case when using it 8) I want a pouch, with a full cover, and a belt clip. The 6 is to big to pocket. And the 6 Plus is just stupid. If I wanted a huge phone I would have got a note by now.

Otterbox Defender is my preferred case. Have used one on all my previous iphones. It provides very robust protection for drops and scratches. My 3 year old 4s still looks brand new!

It comes with a quick release belt clip that also acts as a stand for either portrait or landscape use.

It isnt water proof but that has never been a concern for me.

Hope this helps.

I have always used Otterbox, and typically the Defender. If ordered through Otterbox it comes with the belt clip, but if purchased at Verizon for example the belt clip is not included but the case is quite a bit lower cost (Particularly if you are getting a 25% discount on Accessories like many do). I have ordered two Otterbox Defender Cases from Otterbox and am waiting for the second one now. While I wait I did purchase the silicone case directly from Apple and I like it so well that I don't know if I will put the Defender on the phone unless I am going to be going someplace particularly concerning for drops or other mishaps.

For those looking for more durable covers.

Like you I turned to the apple community to answer this question. While many of these suggestions revolve around what looks cool, I need protection for my iPhones. In my research I have found this means I want "triple layer protection" i.e. there is a screen-protection aspect of the case.

I am a longtime Otterbox Defender user and it saved my phone many times. Droppage, pools, wrecks, errant foosball handles to the front pocket, etc. (I even used to throw my iPhone as a party trick. There was always a gasp but when I picked up my phone it was always fine. Yes, I realize now this was stupid and I don't do it anymore.) Now that I bought a 6, I am finding there might be better options, especially because while loyal to otter box, i have to say their designs have gotten less appealing in the way of coverage (open ports, etc.) and the outside rubber case always tears and has to be replaced. While I was still loyal and planning to order a Defender again, the reviews of the defender for the 6 that are already in are not super stellar.

Here is a list of what looks like reasonable defense cases. While I can speak for otter box defenders' protection, the rest is just my research.

My guess at the top three Triple Layer Protection cases for the 6 in order:

E.C.L USA iPhone 6 Case Protective Armor Slim Fit Triple Layer Protective Case with Advanced Shock Absorption Protection with Kick-Stand.

Zerolemon Apple iPhone 6 Protector Series with screen protector (this design looks very similar to the defender)

The Otterbox Defender of course

I, too, have been a loyal Otterbox Defender user since the 3G. However, when we got our iPhone 6, I chose to bareback and my wife got the defender. I don't like it. It makes it hard to reach the screen horizontally when texting with one hand. There is no double tap that fixes that. I'm glad I didn't fork over the money. I'm still looking for something to use too. I'm leaning toward the Spigen Air Cushion. If you find something, post 🙂

I heard that a tempered glass screen protector and skin for the back would protect just as well, but there are issues with the design of the protectors. Anyone have anything to add on that note?

After reading some threads about small scratches on owner's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus screens, I have now placed my very neat Apple Silicone Case in the dresser drawer and my iPhone 6 is now fully incased in the Otterbox Defender. The good news is I am getting use to it and all functions inclusive of the Touch ID work very well. At least it feels a bit sleeker than my old Otterbox Armor that was on my iPhone 5 for the waterproof aspects of that case.

Here's one that non one should fool with for to i6 or 16 Plus.

Trident Kraken A.M.S. Series Case

I had this case for the 5S and it was great so imagine my disappointment with this crap for the 6. It's not the same!!! From the box, opening the case was a nail breaking task. Putting the phone in may as well required vice grips. Once I got the phone in I could not use it properly because the protector doesn't touch the screen and the huge hole for the home button ***** in dust like a vacuum. I BROKE MORE NAILS TRYING TO GET MY PHONE BACK OUT!!! Am I supposed to do keep doing that to keep it clean? In addition to the screen, the side buttons require exponential force. If I wanted to press that hard I'd go back to using an old school typewriter.

Sent back in less than 24 hours so now I'm back to square one. Your question is my question.
