I am trying to ask Siri"what planes are overhead"

I am trying to ask Siri"what planes are overhead". I get a list of websites, when I click on one I get an American site. I live in Australia, doesnt really help me. I have restored my iphone according to apple tech team advice, and all locations are on. I can get an App from Wolfram for $2.39 is this the only solution. Does anyone else have this problem

Go to Settings, then to Safari. Change your search engine from Google to Bing or to DuckDuckGo. I did this with mixed results, but Bing definitely worked more often than Google (2 out of 3 as opposed to 1 out of 3 tries) and DuckDuckGo worked better than any others. Who woulda thunk?

P.S. Yahoo didn't seem to work well at all for me.

Do you mean it actually worked for you? I had a plane directly above me and it still went to websites in US. Im told SIri will list all planes overhead. Have asked my local telco, they said to make sure I asked for planes in Australia. Didnt work.

I did a google search and found out a few phrases that worked. You might not be getting it because it used FAA information and one end of the flight must land in the US, according to one article. Here's an article with more info.

iphone 6 plus, Siri just returns a web search for "what planes are above" my 4s before listed the flights above. II'm in Canada but it always worked before but now I have the new iPhone 6 plus with the latest update. I checked my wife's iPhone 6 and here works but mine doesn't so not sure what is going on with the iPhone 6 plus.

I live in the US. I am directly under the flight pattern for Washington Reagan national Airport. What I have discovered is that when there aren't any aircraft overhead I get Web results. But when there are aircraft overhead Siri returns the results of what is flying overhead.
